U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Campaign

This holiday season the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department along with other regional fire departments will participate in the 2009 U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Campaign by acting as a collection point for toys. The campaign will run November 24 thru December 24, 2009. You can make a difference this holiday season for a child by bringing new, unwrapped toys to the Burtonsville Fire Station or other area fire stations. The Toys for Tots program provides a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas. Toys for Tots is one of the nation's flagship Christmas charitable causes within the Department of Defense that reaches outside the military to give something back to the communities from which the nation draws the young men and women who serve in the armed forces of the United States of America.
