Engine 715, Engine 715C and Rescue Squad 715 Operate at House Fire on Hornell Lane

Engine 715, Engine 715C, and Rescue Squad 715 were dispatched for a house fire in the 1100 block of Hornell Lane this afternoon. Engine 704 arrived on the scene and reported heavy smoke showing from a one story house. Units found fire in the attic. Units were able to open the concealed spaces and knock the fire down quickly. Primary and secondary searches were completed with negative results. A rapid intervention dispatch and a task force were requested to assist. Units remained on the scene for quite some time during overhaul.
