House Fire on Naples Avenue

Truck 715 was dispatched just after 0600 hours for house fire in the 4600 block of Naples Avenue. First arriving units reported fire showing from both floors of a two-story detached dwelling. Companies made an aggressive attack on the fire and were able to bring the fire under control in about 20 minutes. One firefighter sustained burns to the upper body and was transported to the Washington Hospital Center Burn Unit were he was treated and released. Seven children and two adults were displaced.
