Rescue Squad Assists Units with Rope System at I-95 and I-495

Around 0315 hours Rescue Squad 715 was dispatched to assist units on the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the Capitol Beltway at I-95 and I-495. Units were on the scene extricating victims from a vehicle that had left the roadway and came to rest on its side in a creek. First arriving units found one patient partially ejected with the vehicle resting on top of him trapping him in the water. Access to the scene was difficult due to rough terrain. Rescue Squad 715 was able to assist the units on the scene, setting up a rope system to remove the patient from the area and back up to the roadway to be transported.
