House Fire - 17600 block Layfayette Drive

At around 0330 hours units were dispatched for the house fire in the 17600 block of Layfayette Drive. Engine 740 arrived on the scene and reported smoke showing from a two story detached dwelling. The fire was located in the sub basement and extended to the first floor and the floor above the sub basement. A second alarm was requested bringing Truck 715 to the scene and a special alarm following the second alarm brought Engine 715 to the scene. The first picture shows conditions as Engine 715 was taking a position on Side Alpha and the second picture is of conditions as Engine 715 was preparing to advance an attack line into the sub basement.
