At 1222 hours the Box Alarm was filled for house fire in the 13100 block of Buccaneer Road. Units arrived on the scene with smoke showing from a one story detached dwelling. The fire involved the kitchen on the first floor. The fire was knocked down quickly by the responding units. Primary and secondary searches were completed with negative results.

A safety dispatch was requested to assist on the Box. Units operated on the scene for about an hour.
