The Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department along with the American Red Cross will be sponsoring a community blood drive on Saturday, August 20, 2005 from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the fire station located at 13900 Old Columbia Pike in Silver Spring.
Anyone age 17 or older (16 with parental permission) and weighing over 110 lbs is eligible to donate. Donated blood will benefit the entire Chesapeake-Potomac Region, including 36 hospitals.
ALL DONORS WILL RECEIVE A FREE RED CROSS T-SHIRT
and CHANCES TO WIN A CRUISE and A $250 SHOPPING GIFT CARD
