Forsythia Lane House Fire

August 12, 2005

Burtonsville units were dispatched for a house fire in the 3400 block of Forsythia Lane at 2143 hours. Engine 151 arrived on the scene with smoke showing from a two story detached dwelling from Side “A”. Engine 151 advanced a preconnect line to the involved areas in the rear of the home while Truck 15 laddered the building opened up. The rescue squad completed a primary search with negative results. The fire was held in Quadrant “B” and “C” with some minor extension to the second floor via a window in the rear. A safety dispatch was requested to assist. Units operated at the scene of this incident for just over three hours.
