Rescue Squad 15 responded 813 Eighth Street for reported smoke in the laundry room. Laurel Engine 103 arrived on the scene and reported smoke showing from Side "A". The units from Company 10 quickly located and extinguished a fire the bedroom of a terrace level apartment.

There were heavy smoke conditions throughout the building. Rescue Squad 15 completed a primary and secondary search of the building on all floors with negative results. The squad crew assisted the two engines and the tower from Company 10 in opening up and checking for extension. Rescue Squad 15 operated at this incident for about an hour.
