The BVFD operates a 1988 Ford C8000 Saulsbury Rescue Squad as a reserve. In an effort to ensure reserve capability in the future, the BVFD is evaluating a re-chassis and refurbishment of the current squad body on the reserve rescue squad. This would guarantee reserve apparatus capability for the life span of the current front line rescue squad. Pictured above is Ricky Ward from Singer Associates Fire Equipment and Rick Peeters from Pierce Refurbishment Sales evaluating the current vehicle.
